The restaurant’s specialty, claypot rice, is a dish that brings together rice, chicken, and a blend of savory sauces all cooked together in a claypot. The result? A mouth-watering combination of tender chicken, perfectly cooked rice, and a smoky flavor that can only come from the claypot method. This unique cooking process ensures the rice at the bottom of the pot gets crispy, a delicious treat for those who enjoy a bit of texture with every bite. And the best part? The chicken used here is marinated in a special blend of spices and sauces, ensuring each bite is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. • This is my second time having claypot rice chicken in Kampar, and it is much better here than that other place. The chicken is sufficiently juicy, the salted fish is mixed well into the rice, so that the saltiness level is even. The rice is slightly burned at the bottom, as it should be with claypot rice. Will recommend.

  • Indulged in exquisite claypot chicken rice featuring salted fish, expertly cooked over charcoal for an authentic Chinese culinary experience. The ambiance resonates with the charm of a traditional old-town Chinese restaurant. Despite the slight crowd drawn by its well-deserved reputation, the very reasonable prices make it a definite return destination.

  • Nice claypot rice with good aroma, chicken is not over cook and tender, the sauce is at the right flavour. And very consistent in quality so far. Just hope the owner can keep up some cleanliness of the shop. Not forgot also to try out the red sugar cane juice, very refreshing and sweet.

  • We arrived at 6pm on Saturday, almost full. Ordered their famous claypot chicken rice (with salted fish separately), mushroom chicken feet, and vegetable. We like the claypot rice and it's rice cooked just right . The salted fish is pan fry and add with dash of lime juice, made it perfect for claypott rice.
